Tata Teleservices has launched its new wireless internet access device – Tata Photon Wi-Fi Pocket Router, which enables multiple users to share wireless internet connectivity on various devices which are Wi-Fi enabled like laptops, desktops, iPads and mobile phones.
The Tata Photon Wi-Fi Router allows broadband internet access speed up to 3.1 Mbps. It also sports an ethernet port and provides a battery back-up of 2.5 hours. The device has been launched in four major cities – Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore and is available at an introductory price of Rs 4,999 for a limited period, post which it will be available for Rs 6,500.
