Lemon Mobiles to launch India's cheapest 3G phone for just Rs 3,500; Android device soon to follow!

9 Nov

Lemon Mobiles has announced that they will very soon launch a 3G phone – the W100 – for just Rs 3,500. The homegrown vendor has promised that the Lemon W100 will be available in the Indian market by the end of this November. Detailed specs of the Lemon W100 are not yet available but yes the phone does offer standard features like dual camera (front facing camera for video calling), FM radio, pre-embedded browser, Bluetooth and other multimedia features.

And wait there’s more to it! The vendor has also revealed its plan for launching an Android-based handset, post the 3G phone launch. Considering that our Indian vendors have a history of  launching their devices at affordable prices, it would be a relief if Lemon’s Android baby doesn’t cost us big bucks!
