Garmin Asus has launched the nivifone A10 in India. The A10 runs on Android 2.1 and is upgradeable to Android 2.2. It is Garmin Asus’ first Android smartphone. We had first reported about the company’s plans to launch the A10 in India earlier this month.

The A10 is priced at Rs 18,990. It features a 3.2-inch HVGA display, 4 GB of internal flash memory, a 5.0 MP camera and runs on Qualcomm’s 7227 processor clocked at 600 MHz. It was announced at MWC earlier this year and like its Windows Mobile siblings, will come pre-loaded with navigation software and maps for India.
