Nimbuzz hits 150 million downloads, has served over 3 billion voice minutes

Nimbuzz, the multi-IM client for cellphones, PC and Mac, today hit its 150 millionth download. The client, which is available for iPhone, Android, Symbian and J2ME cellphones, apart from PC, Mac and Web, also announced that it has served 3.65 billion voice minutes in the last one year. One can make free Nimbuzz to Nimbuzz voice calls, apart from Nimbuzz Out (users can call mobile and landline numbers at cheap calling rates) and SIP calls.



Nimbuzz has 30 million users currently (which would indicate multiple downloads by the same user) and is adding about 70,000 users every day. The app has been downloaded over five million times from Nokia’s Ovi Store and over 35 million times from GetJar. Nimbuzz is a free app across all platforms.
