modu T phoneRemember ‘modu’ the guys who took the cellphone world by storm in 2009 with their modular phone concept and faded away in 2010 while facing problems to launch their phones commercially? It seems they are willing to make yet another attempt with their T phone that we have spotted in the Bluetooth SIG gallery. The phone now seems to sport an unusual touchscreen user interface. If the markings on the homescreen are anything to go by, this one seems to be relying on web apps rather than native ones. The modu T phone will have 2 GB of internal memory along with a memory card slot. The handset vendor proudly claims that this is the lightest touch phone in the world. We hear that they have two versions of the phone – one EDGE only and another that can also do HSDPA.
