Intex launches IN6633 QWERTY dual-SIM phone in India for Rs 4,500

17 Jul

Intex has launched the IN6633 in India, where it will be available for Rs 4,500. The dual-SIM QWERTY phone makes a dubious claim that it can enable users to do video calls (“face to face calls”) over a 2G network since it has dual cameras. Other features include Wi-Fi connectivity, push mail with up to 10 e-mail accounts, IM via Numbuzz, FM radio, Bluetooth with A2DP and motion sensor. We are not sure what solution Intex is using for push mail and how it can do video calls over a 2G network. On the memory front, the IN6633 has 78 MB of internal memory and a microSD card slot that is compatible with cards up to 8 GB in capacity. There is no mention of the camera resolution either. We have reached out to the company for clarifications and will update this post as soon as we hear from them.
