HTC Wildfire launched in India

htc wildfireHTC has launched a mid-end Android smartphone in India. The Wildfire, priced at approximately Rs 16,000, will replace the Tattoo and features Android 2.1 (Eclair) OS with HTC’s Sense UI running on top of it. On the specifications front, the Wildfire has a 528 MHz processor, a 3.2 inch QVGA capacitive display, 512 MB ROM and 384 MB RAM. Connectivity opetions include 3G, Wi-Fi and it has an internal GPS receiver too. On the multimedia front, the Wildfire has a 5.0 MP camera and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It has a 1300 mAh battery, which HTC claims would last for about 8 hours of talktime and 480 hours of standby on a 2G network.

    I have just bought this phone .It is a amazing piece of technology and works wonderful .lovely phone and i think better than HTC desire .I have used HTC desire before, but i feel this is better .Its size fits my pocket but desire was quite massive .My review, 6stars out of 5 to this handset .love it

    I bought this fone 4 days back and loved every bit of it. Dont go by the reviews of screen. The screen is brilliant ! and Android rocks

    hey i got this phone a week ago and u know wht……its awesome….stylish and sleek and it has all the features…..better than google nexus one…yey!! i am happy that i got this phone

      Wow… Its nice that HTC Wildfire is working so great. i like it tooo but can’t agree with you on Nexus One comparison. Nexus One remains far superior than Wildfire, but yes, for what it’s worth, wildfire is the best ‘value for money’ android phone currently available in India.

      BTW, nice to see so many android fans in India. And Girls too, can’t believe it.

      Android is really a perfect OS to go for, since it suits the budget and makes available all the greatest of tech going around. Can’t ask for more, No?

    Bought this phone , an amazing piece of technology and works wonderful .Its size fits my pocket .My review, 10 out of 10 to this handset .
    Best ‘value for money as it suits the budget and makes available all the features of technology IN in the market
