Nokia C5 launched in India, available for Rs 8,200

5 Jul

Nokia has launched its first C-series phone – the C5 – in India. The phone is currently available at Nokia Priority dealers for approximately Rs 8,200 and will be available across normal retail outlets later this week.

The C5 is an online social networking centric smartphone running on S60 third edition (S60 3.2 FP2) and is equipped with a 3.2 MP camera, GPS and is 3G enabled. It has 50 MB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 16 GB with a microSD card. It also comes with free Ovi Maps with navigation, but we ain’t sure how useful it would be on the C5’s tiny 2.2 inch QVGA display.
