MTS reaches 5 million subscribers mark in India

CDMA carrier MTS, a joint venture between Shyam Telecom of India and Systema of Russia, has added 4 million new subscribers in just 361 days. The carrier now has 5 million subscribers in India. And on this occasion, MTS is offering ‘Unlimited MBlazer’ pack which will allow its subscribers to access unlimited data for a period of 30 days. The Unlimited MBlazer pack will be available for Rs 999 and will remain valid for a month. The operator is also offering ‘Win-Win pack’ at a discount of 25 per cent apart from a Rs 199 plan that offers 1,000 local minutes of free calling on any network.



The ‘Win-Win pack’ will be available for Rs 399 instead of its regular price of Rs 530 and will include the following benefits –

  • Special Value Voucher @ Rs 150 – offers talk time of Rs 200 for 30 days.
  • STD pack @ Rs 58 – offers 120 STD minutes valid for 30 days.
  • Local pack @ Rs 94 – offers 360 local minutes valid for 30 days.
  • SMS pack @ Rs 9 – offers 100 local and national SMSs valid for 30 days
  • SMS pack @ Rs 16 – offers 150 local and national SMS per day with daily decrement of Re 1 valid for 30 days
  •  SMS pack @ Rs 32 – offers 600 local and national SMSs valid for 30 days
  • Caller tune pack @ Rs 23 – provides 1 month rental and one free song download
  • Caller tune pack @ Rs 46 – provides 3 months rental and one free song download
  • Recharge voucher of Rs 100
