India's 3G auction: Day 12 update

Day 12 marked one of the most aggressive days of bidding as the price of an all India 3G license jumping by nearly Rs 600 crore to reach Rs 7,599 crore, which is more than double the base price of Rs 3,500 crore. Delhi became the first circle to cross the Rs 1,000 crore and reached Rs 1,030.72 crore at the end of 70 rounds of bidding. On the other hand, carrier interest in Maharashtra seems to have waned and the bids have stopped at Rs 753.96 crore. Gujarat, which had once overtaken Delhi, also seems to have cooled off at Rs 613.08 crore. Read all the details revealed by DoT here.
