India’s 3G auction: Day 11 update

The base price of pan-India 3G licence nearly doubled on the 11th day of the auction. After the completion of 64 rounds of bidding, the bid value shot up to Rs 6967.25 crore which is almost twice the initial base price of Rs 3,500 crore. The bidding price for Delhi crossed Rs 850 crore which was Rs 771.71 crore on the 10th day of the auction. Mumbai and Tamil Nadu stood at second and third spots with bid values of Rs 752.38 crore and Rs 717.72 crore respectively.
