India’s 3G auction: Day 8 update

By end of the eighth day of the 3G spectrum auction, the base price of Rs 3500 crore crossed Rs 6,000 crore. The eighth day marked the completion of 46 rounds of bidding and the provisional price for the license to offer 3G services across the country reached Rs 6,068 crore.

Delhi has become the most expensive circle with a bid value of Rs 691.20 crore followed by Mumbai and Maharashtra with bid values of Rs 635.38 crore and Rs 588.57 crore respectively…
