On the sixth day of bidding for 3G spectrum, the base price for an all-India 3G license crossed Rs 5,000 crore. Now the provisional price for the license to offer 3G services across the country has reached Rs 5,095 crore from a base price of Rs 3,500 crore. Gujarat became the first circle to cross Rs 500 crore as it reached Rs 512.61 crore after 34 rounds of bidding. You can read stats released by DoT here.
