RIM BESX rumours stoke MWC frenzy

14 Feb

With the Mobile World Congress 2010 hours away from kicking off, everyone is making announcements or contriving leaks. So we have heard of the first phone running on the Samsung Bada OS, news of SPB developing a skin for Android, talk of a Zune phone…and now RIM has added to the speculation frenzy around the event by saying that it will make a major announcement on Thursday. Needless to say, we do not have the slightest idea about what they are going to unveil on said day, but tongues are already wagging that the famed BlackBerry Enterprise Server is going to go free and/or unlimited and/or (hey, these are rumours, remember!) the announcement of a major over the air (OTA, to use the abbreviation) service for BlackBerry users. We do not really know what is going to happen yet, but we must admit that things are building up nicely. We have our editor in Barca and will keep you informed of whatever transpires.
