Nokia N900 press shot leaked

24 Aug

We seem to be suffering from a Nokia over dose today but it’s not as if we are complaining. After we showed the first photograph to the world in May of the Nokia Rover, today marks the day when the first official press shot has been leaked.

The device was anyway pretty much confirmed and this shot just reconfirms the Rover as the N900. It will run on Nokia’s Maemo platform, have a 5.0 MP camera, a 3.5 inch touchscreen display, 3.5 mm audio jack, A-GPS, HSDPA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

And yeah, like the N97 it also has a sliding QWERTY keypad (sans the D-Pad) though it doesn’t tilt the display.

Initial previews suggest that this is a better device than the N97 and the Maemo platform is better than the touch version of Symbian S60.

Now all that we want to know is the price tag that it’d carry and when can we lay our paws on it. Well, we know for sure that Nokia will announce the details on September 2. So sit tight and keep tuned in.
