In an exclusive interview with CellPassion, Samsung Telecom India’s country head, Sunil Dutt, revealed that the company is planning to open a chain of flagship stores across India. The first store is already coming up in Delhi and Dutt promises that there will be more such stores not only in Delhi but across India.

“The flagship store will provide the experience of our phone, applications in a very different environment. We have not firmed up on the number of these stores. We will see the sort of response that we get from a couple of these stores and then decide the number and places,” he said.

Samsung is also planning to launch the Galaxy, the company’s first Android phone. It comes pre-installed with an interesting app called location directory that determines your location and tells you of the nearest restaurants, ATMs etc. Dutt told us that Samsung would launch a few more Android devices this year.
