Worldmate on iPhone gets push capability, price slash!

5 Aug

While preparing for my trip to Singapore in June earlier this year, I had relied on the Worldmate app on the iPhone as my sole organiser. In an earlier post, I had reckoned that it was the best travel app available on the App Store for frequent fliers. Today, the app got updated and its Gold version got push capabilities that would push notifications in case a flight is delayed or gates are changed. However, a price tag of $20 is a bit intimidating.

However, the folks at Worldmate are in a generous mood today and have slashed its price to just 99 cents! But it is just for today, so head off to the App Store and download your copy today.

P.S. I hope the guys at Worldmate are reading this. I want to point out that their support for Indian airline carriers and airports is patchy and the app is unable to process e-tickets generated by popular Indian travel sites. Hopefully, it would be fixed soon.
