Asus indeed working on eeePhone

25 Apr

Asus, the guys who redefined how we use notebooks with their eeePC, are now attempting to do the same to smartphones. Our credible sources tell us that the company is indeed working on an eeePhone that it aims to retail for $100. The same team behind the eeePC is working on this project. It is believed to be a QWERTY keyboard equipped smartphone that would run on a Linux-based platform. Our sources indicate that, for some reason, both Android and Windows Mobile was not workin out for the device. Well, if Asus can do an encore of their performance with the eeePC, we won’t mind that, now would we?
